Turkish delight is the ultimate Istanbul street food, and although Turkish delight is found all over and known worldwide, it’s not quite the same as trying it in its home country of Turkey. The soft and chewiness with the fragrant taste of Turkish delight make it another kind of sweet all in itself!
Today we tried authentic Turkish delight (Lokum) in one of the more famous places that sell it in Istanbul, compare all the different flavours on offer, as well as see what other sweets are sold in these stores in Istanbul.
The street food in Istanbul is amazing, and getting to try authentic Turkish delight (Lokum) in Istanbul for the first time was a real treat!
